Women agitated over illegal sale of liquor set shop ablaze

A group of women allegedly set a shop on fire on Bhopa road here for illegally selling liquor, police said today.

The agitated women have alleged that they had complained to the district authorities earlier but no action was taken against the shop owner, they said.

The accused owner escaped when the women set his shop on fire yesterday, police said adding the shop was gutted.
