Q Could you please tell us about Ansal Properties and Industries?

For over three decades, Ansals name has been synonymous with the entire gamut of civil construction and real estate development activity in India and abroad. Among the handful of Indian Corporates who have built a global reputation, there is one name that stands out ANSALS. The company as on date have over 35 real estate development and construction projects (both domestic and overseas) in hand and under execution aggregating to Rs.2,500 crores.

Q What has been this organisations contribution to the Housing and Construction sector"?

ANSALS were instrumental in bringing the concept of high-rise buildings to New Delhis corporate skyline. For Ansals the business of Real Estate is more than just setting up concrete structures. The group believes in creating an environment according to peoples needs. Their major landmarks include commercial buildings like Amba Deep, Antriksh Bhawan, Tolstoy House, Indra Prakash, ansal Bhawan, and dozens of other high rise buildings in India and abroad. The decade of 80s and beginning of 90s saw Ansals establishing townships at Palam Vihar and Sushant Lok - south of Delhi, Ashiana at Lucknow, Ansal Vihar at Mumbai, Garden Mansion and Casa Ansal at Bangalore, Neelpadam Kunj at Vaishali and Chiranjiv Vihar at Ghaziabad.

 

Ansals also recognise the right to housing for everyone and offer full support to Government schemes for economically weaker sections by building houses or providing developed lands to less privileged sections of the society at highly subsided rates.

Q What are the significant projects that this organisation has executed overseas?

The Groups overseas activity includes - The Hotel Atrium, Prestige Towers, Fairvies Tower, Palam Court apartments, Baan Suan Lalana & Baan Sukh Saan at Bangkok (Thailand); Hotels at Navoorod and Pskov in Russia; commercial complex at Tahrir Sqaure and grain Silos at baghdad (Iraq) are all Ansals commitment to excellence in construction overseas.

Q There is no doubt that "Ansal Properties & Industries" is a name to reckon within the construction sector. But with time the competition in the market has become very fierce, especially against competitors who have formidable reputations. What are your strategies to maintain your position in the market?

ANSALS believe that their greatest challenge lies not in tackling the competition but in anticipating and meeting the ever changing needs of their customers. Innovation and quality, therefore are the twin cornerstones of their strategy. Today Ansals are widely recognised as the leaders in the real estate and are among the few who have procured as well as implemented projects overseas.
