Ap Power Distribution Firm To Earn Rs 250 Crore More

Central power Distribution Company Ltd of Andhra Pradesh (APCPDCL) has decided to collect an additional Rs 250 crore by improving internal efficiency during 2000-01. This has been announced by A K Kutty, chairman and managing director, APTRANSCO, while addressing an engineers' meet here on Wednesday. To ensure quality of power supply, electronic meters have been installed on 11 kv feeders to monitor the hourly power supply position to rural areas by retrieving data with Common Meter Reading Instruments.
For High Tension power consumers, express feeders will be laid to feed them exclusively. P M K Gandhi, managing director, APCPDCL has reviewed the progress of various works and action plan for 2000-01.
