Australia's cotton industry welcomed the announcement by the government on Wednesday that it will provide export trade assistance to cover trade to Indonesia. This was a positive move to assist exporters , Cotton Australia chief executive Gary Punch said. The government had announced that it would underwrite exports to Indonesia through its Export Finance and Insurance Corp on a case-by-case basis. (Reuters)
