Bull Revival

CSE REPORT

A smart come back in major scrips marked the trading in the Calcutta stock exchange (CSE) yesterday

This change was reflected in revival of bull activity in almost all the key counters unlike Monday when scrips witnessed a slide.

The turnover was lower than on Monday but the undertone was distinctly bullish as the session wound up. The CSE-50 share index closed at 114.24 points after looking up earlier at 114.64, gaining marginally by 0.93 points. The lowest of the day was 112.71 points.

ACC closed at Rs 1228 while Tisco gained at Rs 189.50 with Tata Tea at Rs 383.30 and ITC at Rs 506. Reliance finished at Rs 324, SBI new at Rs 332 and IPCL at Rs 128.10. Among other scrips Hind Motor was placed at Rs 14, Grasim at Rs 368, Hind Lever at Rs 1379.70 and Larsen & Toubro at Rs 244 with CESC pegged at Rs 39.65 and ICICI at Rs 83.30.
