Cbs India To Sell Peoplesoft Products

Complete Business Solutions Inc (CBSI), an NRI outfit in the US, has entered into a strategic alliance with PeopleSoft to exclusively market the latter's ERP software products in India.

Announcing this here yesterday, CBSI director (business development) Radha Krishnan and PeopleSoft's vice-president (education) Jan Middleton said the alliance would enable CBSI's subsidiary, CBS(India) Ltd, to offer a full range of services with respect to PeopleSoft ERP solutions. Krishnan said CBSI has set up `PeopleSoft Excellence Centres' in Hyderabad and California.He indicated that the alliance would soon be enhanced to provide PeopleSoft educational services in India.

Krishnan said that CBSI presently provides services in a wide variety of computing environments and uses leading technologies, including Y2K tools.

Founded in 1985, CBSI is one of the fastest growing software consulting companies in the world, with annual growth rate of 73 per cent. The company's 1997 turnover exceeded $ 123 million, Krishnan said.
