Fuel-Saving Burners

Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP), Dehradun, has developed fuel efficient burners for both domestic and industrial purposes. Under a project, supported by Petroleum Conservation Research Association, it has developed LPG stoves, made of steel and brass, for household application with thermal efficacy of 70 per cent as compared to present ones with only 58 per cent efficiency.
