The Bangladesh government has assured an Indian trade delegation that all out steps would be taken to introduce the much-awaited transit route through Bangladesh which would connect the north-eastern region with West Bengal. A Nepal-type agreement for the purpose was likely to be signed between the Indian government and a Bangladesh team, which was expected to arrive in New Delhi in July, Tripura Chamber and Commerce secretary M L Debnath said here on Thursday.
