Low Arrivals At Icta Auction

With expectation of short supplies in the coming months, large supplies were hard to come by at the auction yesterday.

Elsewhere, arabicas at New York tumbled to fresh lows while robustas at London also fell, but not as sharply as on the New York exchange.

Back home, 191.858 tonne sold out of a total offer of 779.915 tonne with 75 per cent being withdrawn from the sale.

In arabica parchment, PB sold 5.9 tonne at Rs 84. 78 / kg (Rs 82.36), A sold 16.436 tonne at Rs 80.30/kg (Rs 81.04), B sold 16.8 tonne at Rs 60.34/kg (Rs 62.66), C sold 17.3 tonne at Rs 56.58/kg (Rs 56.18), BBB sold 3.72 tonne at Rs 42.12/kg (Rs 38.52).

 

In arabica cherry, PB sold 4.9 tonne at Rs 51.16/kg (Rs 52.42), AB sold 5.7 tonne at Rs 57.96/kg (Rs 54.66), C sold 16.4 tonne at Rs 40.82/kg (Rs 38.32), BBB sold 10.476 tonne at Rs 36.96/kg (Rs 36.88).

In robusta parchment, PB sold 3.2 tonne at Rs 41.14/kg (Rs 38), AB sold 12.6 tonne at Rs 54.74/kg (Rs 50.94), C sold 1.3 tonne at Rs 38.24/kg (Rs 35), and BB sold some 9.5 tonne at Rs 33.78/kg (Rs 32).

In robusta Cherry PB sold 9.7 tonne at Rs 39.16/kg (Rs 39.96), AB sold 45 tonne at Rs 40.68/kg (Rs 38.90), C sold 5 tonne at Rs 38.34/kg (Rs 34.30), BBB sold 6.9 tonne at Rs 34.04/kg (Rs 33.02).
