Railway Freight Target Exceeded

In July, the railways carried 33.12 million tonnes of revenue-earning freight traffic against 30.82 million

tonnes, registering 2.30 million tonnes higher freight traffic over the corresponding months of the previous year. This was in excess of the target of 32.50 million tonnes by 0.62 million tonnes for

 

the month.
