Big industrial units in Rajasthan are reeling under heavy power cut as the state electricity board is experiencing shortfall of 400 mw. Big industries are subjected to 75 per cent cut in supply during day time and 50 per cent cut during night, a RSEB spokesman said here yesterday. However, agriculture sector was being supplied power for 7-8 hours daily and if required load shedding would also be resorted in the industrial sector for agriculture activities, he said.
