Rural Areas Secy

Naresh Chandra Saxena, a 1964-batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, has taken over as secretary, rural areas, employment and wasteland development, in place of Vinay Shankar, who has been transferred as secretary, inter-state council. Saxena was earlier secretary to the Minorities Commission.
