NE Technologies Inc, an Atlanta-based provider of software solutions required in the operation of service provider networks, is planning to make an incremental investment of Rs 50 crore in its new Hyderabad facility in the next two years.

The company, which currently has a resource base of 60 people in Hyderabad, is set to inaugurate its new 20,000-sft optical network equipment development and testing facility -- built to accommodate 150 personnel -- next month.

“Set up with an investment of Rs 25 crore, the facility will also have a network equipment laboratory space of 2,500 sft. It will focus on high-end services including network equipment development for Indian, North American and European markets. We are doing the prototype work for a national carrier in India, from the Hyderabad centre, in the area of software billing,” Vish Emani, vice-president of NE Tech, told mediapersons here on Thursday.
