Satyam opens offshore devp centre in B'lore

Satyam Computer Services Limited has informed that a dedicated offshore development centre (ODC) has been launched for INVISTA (one of the Satyam's key customers in the manufacturing vertical) in Bangalore.

The 5,000-sq ft offshore development centre was inaugurated by Erik Viens, chief information officer of INVISTA.

INVISTA operates five major businesses "� apparel, interiors, intermediates, performance fibres and polymer and resins. The ODC for INVISTA provides IT and application management and support (AMS) services to INVISTA, using Satyam's RightSourcing global delivery model.

Subu D, director and senior vice-president, manufacturing, Satyam, said in a press release, "Today's launch of the INVISTA ODC, further strengthens the relationship that we enjoy with INVISTA."
