Satyam - Top player in Indian vendor consulting market

Satyam Computer Services Limited has announced that the company was cited as a top player in the Indian vendor consulting market, according to 'The Forrester Wave: Indian Vendor Consulting Capabilities, Q4 2005' study conducted by Forrester Research Inc.

According to the report, Stephanie Moore, vice-president of IT services research group at Forrester Research, wrote that Satyam has a strong consulting vision and has been able to deliver on both technical and business process consulting requirements.

Forrester also evaluated Satyam's current offerings and strategy for providing technical and business process consulting services against 20 criteria.

The survey found that the company's strong skills were especially prevalent in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) and technical consulting space.

The Futurus Lab, established a year ago, demonstrates Satyam's investment and depth of experience, which plans to build future business scenarios in the consulting space.

This, along with the company's acquisition of Citisoft, a boutique agency focused on the investment management vertical, has given a significant boost to the company's consulting practice.
