Royal Challengers Bengaluru have kickstarted their five-day conditioning camp primarily with eight of its domestic players including 16-year-old Bengal prodigy Prayas Ray Burman and Ranji Trophy's top run-getter Milind Kumar.
Eight players have already joined the camp which also includes Uttar Pradesh captain Akshdeep Nath, Mumbai all-rounder Shivam Dubey, talented Delhi batsman Himmat Singh and seamer Kulwant Khejroliya, Tamil Nadu's Washington Sundar and Devdutt Paddikal from Karnataka.
The two coaches Gary Kirsten and Ashish Nehra will be monitoring the progress of the players and a Yo-Yo test will also be conducted to get a hang of their fitness.

India's first and only individual Olympic gold-medallist Abhinav Bindra and national badminton coach Pullela Gopichand have been named jury members for the second Indian Sports Honours to be presented here on February 16.
Former Indian hockey captain Sardar Singh, tennis veteran Mahesh Bhupathi, legendary athlete PT Usha and former shooter Anjali Bhagwat are also a part of the selection panel.
"The award an athlete gets is just not for that individual but it also recognises the team and support staff which is committed for the athlete's success, the award is just not a reflection of an individual's success but it reflects his/her team's efforts too," shooting ace Bindra said.
The Indian Sports Honours (ISH) is a joint initiative of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group and the Virat Kohli Foundation.
The members of jury recently came together in Kolkata to select the winners which were nominated in every category.

In all, 24 all-woman teams competed in the football  event which took place for the first time in India. The  champions will now represent India at the Global Goals  Activist Trophy to be held in New York in September, a media  release said Monday.
The Global Goals World Cup aims to create awareness  and celebrate entities that champion United Nation's 17  sustainable development goals, as well as drive progress and  change in their communities.

British investigators said Monday they had spotted a body in the wreckage of a plane that disappeared in the Channel two weeks ago carrying Argentine footballer Emiliano Sala and his pilot.
Sala, 28, was flying from France to join his new club, Premier League side Cardiff City, when the light aircraft disappeared on January 21 north of the island of Guernsey.
A wreck was found on the seabed on Sunday and closer inspection by a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) confirmed both that it was the missing plane, and that a body was inside.
"Tragically, in video footage from the ROV, one occupant is visible amidst the wreckage," the British government's Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) said in a statement.

He was the last to win the All England Championship for India and chief national coach Pullela Gopichand Monday hoped that one of the three prodigal talents he has shaped will end the 18-year-old title drought at the event this year.
"I hope that we have one of our players win the All-England tournament this time around. We have had good performances by Saina (Nehwal), (P V)Sindhu and (Kidambi) Srikanth has also been in good form. I do expect that we will have a good performance in this year's All-England," Gopichand told PTI.

The Archery Association of India (AAI) does not figure in the sports ministry's list of recognised national federations after the annual renewal even after fresh elections were held under a new constitution.
B V P Rao was elected president of AAI on December 22 last year in the elections held under the supervision of the Delhi High Court-appointed administrator and former Chief Election Commissioner of India, S Y Quraishi.
The AAI's elections were initially not recognised by its international parent body, World Archery, but the results were later accepted by them. However, the Indian Olympic Association is yet to recognise the elections.
The Sports Ministry and the IOA had objected to certain clauses in the amended constitution of the AAI submitted by Quraishi to the High Court.
Their objections were based on the contention that the amended constitution, in parts, did not tally with the National Sports Development Code of India (NSDCI), 2011.

New methodologies have been proposed to ensure sustainable and impactful delivery of sports coaching program from Grassroots to Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Araibi was convicted in absentia on charges of vandalising a police station in Bahrain, but says he was out of the country playing in a match at the time of the alleged offence.

West Indies captain Jason Holder has been suspended for the third and final Test against England due to his team's slow over-rate during their victory in Antigua last week, the ICC announced on Monday.
