IPL 2026 playoffs: Teams qualified, date, time, venue, live streaming

For the first time in IPL history, the playoffs will be played on three different venues

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is set to kick off its playoff stage with the Qualifier 1 match on Tuesday, May 26, at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.

 

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) became the first team to qualify for the playoffs, before Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to book their and Gujarat Titans’ (GT) places in the final four.  Rajasthan Royals (RR) became the final team to secure top four finish after beating Mumbai Indians (MI) in thier final game of league stage.  RCB, GT and SRH all finished thier group stages with 18 points each, but based on net run rate, RCB finished first, GT second and SRH third. This means RCB and SRH will play Qualifier 1, while SRH will have to play Eliminator against RR.
