Veteran filmmaker Tim Burton says he has no clue about the status of "Beetlejuice" sequel featuring Michael Keaton. The filmmaker, who recently directed Keaton in Disney's reboot of "Dumbo", said he is doubtful if the sequel to the 1988 fantasy horror will ever happen. Burton was asked by USA Today about the status of the sequel, to which he replied: "Nothing, nothing." Then asked if it's definitely happening, he said: "I don't know. I doubt it." Rumours of a "Beetlejuice" sequel have been doing the rounds for years now, but nothing has been finalised yet. "Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian", which took the demonic character to Hawaii, was green-lit after the big success of the original film, but never went into production. In 2015, Winona Ryder had confirmed that a second film was in works. There were also reports of Mike Vukadinovich being roped in to write the movie. Since 2017 there has been no update on the project.

The yet untitled action adventure features John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki and Robert Pattinson. Nolan has worked with Australian editor Lee Smith for all his films since 2005's "Batman Begins". Smith also won an Oscar for their last collaboration "Dunkirk". The dark comedy drama features Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin and Kirby Howell-Baptiste in lead roles, reported Deadline. Created by Marc Cherry, the show revolves around the lives of three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the '60s (Goodwin), a socialite in the '80s (Liu) and a lawyer in 2018 (Howell-Baptiste), each dealing with infidelity in her marriage. The Congress had to remove one stanza from its campaign theme song, which was an apparent jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after the Election Commission objected to it, sources said. A media monitoring committee of the Election Commission had Saturday objected to the stanza. After it was removed, the song was cleared for release, sources in the EC said. The Election Commission has set up media certification and monitoring committee (MCMC) at state and district levels to clear political advertisements and campaign material for the Lok Sabha election. The Congress had referred its theme song to MCMC in Delhi. The song 'Main hi toh Hindustan hoon' has been penned by Javed Akhtar. While the campaign film has been directed by Nikkhil Advani and the cinematography is by Tushar Kanti Ray, the concept and script was provided by Anuja Chauhan, and the music was composed by Arjunna Harjai, the Congress said.
