Tiger Shroff nervous about 'Student of the Year 2'

Tiger Shroff, who will next be seen in "Student of the Year 2", on Sunday said he is aware of the expectations from the film. The 2012 hit film "Student of the Year" marked the Bollywood debut of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. It was directed and produced by Karan Johar. The sequel produced by Johar, features Tiger in the lead and marks the debut of Ananya Pandey, daughter of Chunky Pandey and Tara Sutaria. "I am both excited and nervous. There is pressure, there are expectations. But I am happy with the product that Karan Johar and director Punit Malhotra have put together for us," Tiger told reporters here at an event. Joe Berlinger to direct investigative Martin Luther King feature film

Acclaimed filmmaker Joe Berlinger has been roped in to direct a feature film revolving around the investigation of civil rights champion, Martin Luther King, Jr's assassination. Titled "Slay the Dreamer", the film is based on the life of James Lawson, a friend and advisor to King, reported Deadline. A civil rights icon in his own right, Lawson was instrumental in the Sanitation Workers' Strike in Memphis. During that strike, Lawson invited King to Memphis to speak to the workers, the night before his assassination. Berlinger is also attached to direct and produce a feature documentary on the same subject. The two projects will document Lawson's efforts to reopen the investigation into King's assassination in April 1968, after discovering, in 1976, that Grace Walden the only eyewitness to the man who shot King had involuntarily been held in a mental institution. Jack O'Connell joins Colin Farrell in thriller 'The North Water'

Actor Jack O'Connell has boarded the cast of the BBC's new thriller series "The North Water", which features Hollywood star Colin Farrell in the lead. According to Digital Spy, the "Skins" star will play a disgraced former army surgeon called Patrick Sumner who joins a whaling expedition to the Arctic in the four-part series. In Arctic he meets Farrell's character Henry Drax, a harpooner and brutal killer whose "amorality has been shaped to fit the harshness of his world". The series is based on Ian McGuire's novel of the same name. Andrew Haigh is adapting the book, with shooting due to begin later this year. "Jack is a fiercely instinctual actor who brings nuance and complexity to every character he plays. I can't wait to see him bring Patrick Sumner to life," Haigh said. "Casting the right leads is the most important part of any project and I'm thrilled to have Colin Farrell on board. I am a huge admirer of his work and can't wait to see him bring Drax vividly to life," he added.
