It's a wrap for Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar-starrer "The Sky Is Pink". Director of the film, Shonali Bose shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday. The film also stars Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. "And it's a picture wrap (all but song) finally on this momentous journey of shooting 'The Sky is Pink'. It's been almost nine months since we started shooting - with weddings and album releases for my actors in between... "I feel blessed with the producers, cast and Crew I had on this journey. I miss everyone already. Thank god we still have a song to shoot. Now it's a race for the Oct 11 release," Shonali wrote alongside pictures from the wrap party. Kusumagraj literature award for Ved Rahi
Film director and novelist Ved Rahi has been selected for prestigious "Kusumagraj" national award for literature. Instituted by the city-based Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), the "Kusumagraj Rashtriya Sahitya Puraskar" carries cash prize of Rs one lakh, a memento and a citation. Rahi will be handed over the award at a function to be held at the YCMOU soon, the varsity stated in a release. The award is instituted after Jnanpith-laureate Marathi poet and playwright late V V Shirwadkar, popularly known as "Kusumagraj". Born in Jammu in 1933, Rahi has penned seven novels in Dogri language. He was given Sahitya Akademi award for his Dogri novel, "Aale" in 1983. A prolific writer, he also wrote in Hindi and Urdu languages. Rahi also made the film Veer Savarkar (2001), a biopic on the life of revolutionary Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. 'Sesame Street' to release on January 15, 2021
Anne Hathaway-starrer "Sesame Street" is set to hit the screens on January 15, 2021. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros also announced Tuesday that Tim Story's "Tom and Jerry" movie will release on April 16, 2021. Studio insiders say "Sesame Street" will begin shooting in June. "Portlandia" co-creator Jonathan Krisel is attached to direct, with 21 Laps' Shawn Levy producing alongside Michael Aguilar and Entertainment 360. The movie, which is said to be a musical, is expected to include appearances from "Sesame Street" residents Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster. Chris Galletta of "Kings of Summer" wrote the most recent draft of the screenplay. Story's "Tom and Jerry" film is a live-action hybrid based on the classic animated series created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera that was first introduced in 1940. Amy Adams developing 'Poisonwood Bible' limited series at HBO
Amy Adams has signed a first-look deal with HBO for a limited series adaptation of Barbara Kingsolver's novel "The Poisonwood Bible". According to The Hollywood Reporter, this will be the actor's first project under the agreement which she has signed with her manager Stacy O'Neil under their banner, Bond Group Entertainment. The move shows Adams consolidating her relationship with the network post her acting and executive production stint in "Sharp Objects". Published in 1998, "The Poisonwood Bible" follows the story of Orleanna Price, the wife of an evangelical missionary who takes her and their four daughters to the Belgian Congo in the midst of colonial upheaval in 1959. What follows is a suspenseful epic of tragic undoing and remarkable reconstruction in the interlocked fates of one family and a newly independent African nation. Anya Epstein will adapt the novel. Morgan Freeman joins 'The Hitman's Bodyguard' sequel
Morgan Freeman is set to star in Ryan Reynolds' "The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard", the sequel to "The Hitman's Bodyguard". The veteran actor has joined Frank Grillo, who was last cast in the film, reported Deadline. No details are as yet available about Freeman's character. Samuel L Jackson and Salma Hayek are set to return for the second installment. Patrick Hughes is returning to direct and Tom O'Connor has penned the script. The sequel follows bodyguard Michael Bryce (Reynolds), who is enlisted by Jackson and Hayek's characters to join them on a mission along the Amalfi Coast. Production is expected to start this month. Freeman's last cinematic outing was Disney's "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms", which released months after multiple women accused him of sexual misconduct on production sets or on promotional tours over his career spanning more than five decades. He next stars in "Angel Has Fallen".
Gwyneth Paltrow hasn't quit acting
Gwyneth Paltrow says she has not bid adieu to acting. The actor, who was last seen in "Avengers: Infinity War" in a cameo, said she is currently focused on her lifestyle brand, Goop. "I've never said that I am quitting acting. What I say is Goop is my full-time passion, and being the founder and CEO of Goop is what I do all day every day, and occasionally when something is the right thing and it works out around my children and my Goop life, I'm able to participate. "I think I'm just not focused on full-time acting right now," Paltrow said in an appearance on "Today" show. The actor's comments come months after her admission that she does not miss acting. She will next be seen reprising her role of Pepper Potts in the upcoming "Avengers: Endgame", which will mark her seventh and last appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Last month, Paltrow said she believes it is time for her to say goodbye to her character.
Andy Samberg, Cristin Milioti and JK Simmons to star in comedy 'Palm Springs'
Andy Samberg, Cristin Milioti and JK Simmons will be seen sharing screen space in a comedy titled "Palm Springs". The film is the first project from Limelight, which starts shooting next month, reported Deadline. Penned by "Lodge 49" fame Andy Siara, the movie will be directed by Max Barbakow. The synopsis of the film reads: When carefree Nyles and reluctant maid of honour Sarah have a chance encounter at a Palm Springs wedding, things get complicated as they are unable to escape the venue, themselves, or each other. Samberg is also attached as producer along with Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone and Becky Sloviter of Party Over Here. The film will shoot in Los Angeles and Palm Springs.
'The Big Bang Theory' to bow out on May 16
"The Big Bang Theory" is ready to go out with bang with May 16 set as finale date putting its 12-season run to an end. The CBS hit sitcom will close with an hourlong series finale at 8 pm, reported Deadline. Starring Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch, Simon Helberg, and Kunal Nayyar, "Big Bang" is one of the most popular shows on television. Only seven new episodes remain till the finale. The show's finale will be followed by the second season finale of "Big Bang" beloved spin-off "Young Sheldon", led by Iain Armitage's younger version of the popular character, which also voice stars Parsons. It was Parsons who in a way set the ball in motion for show's end, when he decided to discontinue the show after season 12. The first episode of "Big Bang" aired September 24, 2007.

Alex Wolff and Imogen Poots are set to star in crime drama "Castle in the Ground". According to The Hollywood Reporter, Joey Klein is directing and penning the script. The movie revolves around a teenager who, after the untimely death of his mother, befriends his charismatic but troubled next-door neighbour only to become embroiled in a world of addiction and violence as the opioid epidemic casts a shadow on their small town. William Woods will produce under his Woods Entertainment banner, alongside Michael Solomon via Band With Pictures, both of whom developed the project with Andra Gordon of American Entertainment Investors. 'Game of Thrones' final season episode lengths revealed
HBO has revealed the exact length of all six episodes of the "Game of Thrones" final season. According to Deadline, the network's updated TV schedule shows that the opening episode, which airs on April 14, will be 54 minutes long. The second installment, airing on April 21, will be 58 minutes long, while third episode is exactly an hour long. Episode four has 78 minutes as run time and the final two episodes are the longest with 80 minutes each. Last November, "GOT" director David Nutter revealed that all six episodes in the upcoming season of the hit HBO show will have a run time of over an hour. The first episode of the eighth and final installment of the epic fantasy series is directed by Nutter. He will also helm three other episodes.

YouTube music platform will now be available in India to cash in on the rising data consumption and demand for Indian melodies across the globe, a director of Google's popular video service said Tuesday. YouTube on Tuesday launched both free and paid version of music platforms that will offer all genre of Indian music as well as western charts. "We are seeing lot of engagement across diverse set of content in India and India is exporting tremendous amount of music culture. We have seen explosive amount of growth in terms of consumption in India over last two years and I think it will be missed opportunity if we dont bring YouTube music experience or delay any further," You Tube Director of Product Management for Music Products T Jay Fowler told PTI.
