Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's life story is all set to be the subject of a web series, which is based on Hindol Sengupta's book "The Man Who Saved India". The web series, to be produced by Bohra Bros, will provide a well-rounded perspective on Sardar Patel's life, the makers said. "The web series will follow how Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel becomes one of the most crucial figures of Indian politics. Drake drops Michael Jackson song from his setlist for UK tour
Rapper Drake has quietly dropped a track of Michael Jackson from his UK tour after the resurfacing of allegations of child abuse against the King of Pop. The 32-year-old rapper kicked off his Assassination Vacation Tour in Manchester on Sunday, ahead of dates across the UK and Europe to support recent album 'Scorpion'. The rapper's performance at the Manchester Arena did not include the track "Don't Matter to Me" from the album. The song featured vocals recorded by Jackson in 1983 in a session with Paul Anka. The track featured on his US tour last year, reported Variety. Drake has not yet commented on why the song was dropped but it follows the release of "Leaving Neverland", a documentary that features interviews with two men -- Wade Robson and James Safechuck -- who have alleged they were abused by Jackson when they were minors. A biographical drama film on Saint Mother Teresa, the founder of Missionaries of Charity, has been announced. The film will be directed by Seema Upadhyay, who has also penned the script, the producers said in a statement. The project's cast and crew will feature both Hollywood and Bollywood artistes, the makers said. They said they met with Sister Prema Mary Pierick, current Superior General of the Missionaries of Charity, and Sister Lynne in Kolkata recently to take their blessings for the project. At a panel on the sidelines of the South By Southwest Festival, the 54-year-old director said she was in early discussion to helm the much-awaited project, reported Variety. "They talked to me, I think, early rounds. They were looking at women, maybe men too, but I know a couple women directors they were also talking to about 'Black Widow' and the other one was the one that Chloe (Zhang) got," Shelton said. The film is now being directed by Cate Shortland of "The Berlin Syndrome" fame. Actor Scarlett Johansson is expected to reprise her fan-favourite character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
