Maisie Williams gets 'Game of Thrones' tattoo
Maisie Williams is getting a "Game of Thrones"-inspired tattoo as a tribute to her character in the popular fantasy epic series. The 21-year-old actor, who essays the role of Arya Stark in the HBO series, took to her Instagram Story to reveal that she will get "No One" inked on her body, a phrase associated with the training she received under the aegis of Jaqen H'ghar. She posted a picture of the stencil of her design, alongside the needle that would do the job. Williams captioned the image: "Guess who is getting 'No One' tattoo". The actor got inked at tattoo parlour Bang Bang NYC, a favourite haunt for celebrities such as Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. This is not the first "GOT"-themed tattoo Williams has. Elizabeth Shue has signed on to star in TNT's drama pilot, "Constance", which will be executive produced by Robert Downey Jr. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 54-year-old actor will essay the lead in the fun, darkly humorous story about a woman's refusal to give in to obsolescence. The show follows former beauty queen-turned-small town bureaucrat Constance Young (Shue), who is devastated after her husband dies under mysterious circumstances. When she realises she and her family are on the verge of financial ruin, Constance turns to manipulating the books at City Hall, while simultaneously trying to reinvent herself through the cut-throat competition in the world of direct-sales cosmetics. KC Perry of "The Originals" has written the script. Downey Jr's wife, Susan, is also backing the project under their banner, Team Downey. Another show to get the pilot order from TNT is real-life boxing drama "Beast Mode", from writer David Schneiderman ("Level Up").
Robert De Niro in talks to join 'Joker'
Legendary American actor Robert De Niro, is in negotiations to join Warner Bros.' upcoming movie 'Joker'.De Niro is likely to play a talk show host who is somehow instrumental in the Joker's origin, reported the Hollywood Reporter.Apart from De Niro, 'Deadpool 2' actress Zazie Beetz is also in talks to join Joaquin Phoenix in the anticipated film.De Niro was cast as the young Vito Corleone in the 1974 film The Godfather Part II, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.He received the AFI Life Achievement Award in 2003, the Golden Globe Cecil B. Toronto Film Fest cancels opening press conference after mass shooting
The Toronto International Film Festival has cancelled its opening press conference in the wake of the mass shooting in Canada's Greektown neighbourhood which claimed two lives and left 13 wounded. The gunman, identified as 29-year-old Faisal Hussain of Toronto by the police, opened fire on restaurant goers and pedestrians on busy Danforth Avenue overnight. He was found dead near the scene of the shooting after an exchange of gunfire with the cops. The presser, planned for today, was to be led by festival director Piers Handling and artistic director Cameron Bailey. "In light of the tragedy that occurred last night in Toronto and out of respect for those affected, TIFF is cancelling its scheduled press conference tomorrow, July 24th," the festival said in a statement shared on their official Twitter account. Dates for 76th Golden Globes announced
The schedule for the 76th edition of the prestigious Golden Globes has been announced.The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) on Monday unveiled the dates for the run-up to the annual ceremony which will be held on January 6, 2019, reported The Hollywood Reporter.The report further stated that the TV rights for airing of the ceremony are still being sorted. Since 1993 the award ceremony has aired on NBC, this year, however, the time for negotiations ended without a deal extension.October 31, 2018 is the deadline to submit entry forms for the awards, while the announcement of nominations will be done on December 6, 2018.On January 6, 2019, the presentation ceremony will be held.

Robert De Niro in talks to join Joaquin Phoenix's The Joker movie
Hollywood veteran Robert De Niro is in negotiations to star in The Joker origin movie with Joaquin Phoenix in the lead. According to The Hollywood Reporter, if the deal goes through, the 74-year-old actor would play a talk show host who is somehow instrumental in The Joker's back story. This would be De Niro's first comic book movie. Phoenix stars as one of the most notorious DC supervillains, who is arch-nemesis of The Batman. Todd Phillips is directing the film, which the studio describes as being an "exploration of a man disregarded by society (that) is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale". Phillips co-wrote the script with Scott Silver. The shooting is set to begin in September in New York. Warner Bros has announced October 4, 2019 as the release date of the currently untitled film.
