Capital Infra Trust calls raising Rs 2,363 cr via NCDs to refinance debt

Infrastructure investment trust Capital Infra Trust has announced raising Rs 2,363 crore through debt securities to strengthen its financial position. Established in September 2023, Capital Infra Trust InvIT is sponsored by Gawar Construction Limited. It has investments in infrastructure projects primarily in NHAI road projects through acquisition from sponsors and third parties "The trust announced the successful allotment of 1,16,300 senior secured redeemable, non-convertible debt securities (NCDs), each with a face value of Rs 1,00,000, aggregating to Rs 1,163 crores on March 4, 2025," Capital Infra Trust said in a release. These securities, rated 'AAA stable' by CRISIL and named 7.60 per cent CIT 2038, will mature on January 29, 2038. It further said HDFC Bank and IndusInd Bank have subscribed to the NCD, which aims to enhance investor yields by refinancing high-cost debt instruments of the project SPVs. The entity also said it has allotted 1,20,000 secured listed redeemable .

NOTO Ice Cream raises Rs 15 cr in funding round led by Inflection Point

Start-up NOTO Ice Cream on Thursday said it has raised Rs 15 crore in its latest funding round, led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), with participation from JITO and Lets Venture. The funds will be utilised for expanding into Tier-I and Tier-II cities, launching innovative flavours and formats for the summer, supporting marketing on food-tech aggregators and quick-commerce platforms, upgrading infrastructure, and boosting brand awareness through experiences, the company said in a statement. The brand, also backed by renowned personalities such as John Abraham, Rannvijay Singha, and Kunal Bahl, is currently operational in cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Pune. Vehant Technologies raises $9 mn from True North through NCDs, plans IPO

AI-based security and surveillance solution provider Vehant Technologies has raised USD 9 million (about Rs 77 crore) in a funding round through non-convertible debentures from True North's Private Credit fund, the company said on Tuesday. Vehant Technologies plans 75 per cent of the funds to increase its research and development activities to enhance its current offerings and develop innovative solutions for aviation security, smart cities, and enterprise analytics. "This fundraise from True North will help us develop and launch more cutting-edge products in the areas of aviation security, smart and safe cities and enterprise analytics solutions. It will also help us in geographical expansion in the Middle East and Europe," Vehant Technologies CEO and Co-founder Kapil Bardeja said in a statement.
