Amy Schumer has called off her stand-up tour as the comic says she is facing complications due to hyperemesis, a pregnancy complication characterised by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and possibly dehydration. PM Modi to inaugurate National War Memorial on Monday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National War Memorial near India Gate on February 25, officials said Friday. The memorial will honour soldiers who have laid down their lives for the country since Independence. "The prime minister will dedicate the memorial to the nation on February 25. The defence minister, chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Force will be among the dignitaries present on the occasion," a senior official said. Young Pakistani man, woman slain in suspected honour killing

Pakistani police say a young man and a woman have been killed in the country's commercial hub, Karachi, allegedly by relatives over a perceived affront to family honour. Officer Idrees Bangash says Saturday that Naseeb Khan, 25, and Bibi Dakhtar 20, were found dead with slit throats in the city's western suburbs three days ago. Bangash said initial findings revealed that they both belonged to the conservative Pashtun tribe and resided in the same neighbourhood. They went missing last year. NDRF constable who died saving man from drowning in Kumbh to be cremated Saturday

A constable of the National Disaster Response Force, who died after sustaining a severe spinal injury while saving a pilgrim from drowning in the Kumbh Mela, will be cremated with full state honours at his native village in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday. Constable Rajender Gautam, 36, a resident of Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh, died around 5.30 am at the Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, NDRF Inspector General L Ravi Joseph told PTI. On February 19, he jumped into the waters of the Sangam, a confluence of the Ganga Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati, to rescue an elderly man. The body is being brought to his native village Tehar in Rohal Post Office of Jhandutta Tehsil, Bilaspur Deputy Commissioner Vivek Bhatia said.
