Reliance Retail Q2 results: Profit jumps 22% to ₹3,457 cr, revenue up 18%

Reliance Retail Venture Ltd (RRVL), the retail arm of billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries, reported an 18 per cent increase in its gross revenue to Rs 90,018 crore, while its profit after tax went up 21.9 per cent to Rs 3,457 crore in the September quarter of FY26, led by festive buying and increase in operational efficiencies of stores. The company had reported a gross income of Rs 76,302 crore and profit after tax of Rs 2,836 crore in the July-September quarter a year ago, according to a regulatory filing of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL). Reliance Retail's revenue from operation in the latest September quarter was up 19 per cent to Rs 79,128 crore. It was at Rs 66,502 crore a year ago. In the reporting quarter, Reliance Retail pre-tax profit (EBITDA) was at Rs 6,816 crore, which was up 16.5 per cent Y-o-Y. India Cements logs profit of ₹8.81 cr in Q2; plans ₹2,014 cr on expansion

India Cements Ltd (ICL), now part of the Aditya Birla Group firm, on Friday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 8.81 crore in the September quarter of FY26. The board of ICL has approved an investment of Rs 2,014 crore, which includes a capex of Rs 1,574 crore for modernisation and Rs 440 crore for capacity enhancement. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 339.13 crore in the July-September period a year ago, according to a BSE filing from ICL, now a subsidiary of UltraTech Cement. Its revenue from operations was up 9.31 per cent to Rs 1,117.04 crore in the September quarter of FY26. This was at Rs 1,021.84 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Total expenses of ICL were at Rs 1,135.64 crore, down 13.5 per cent year-on-year. In Q2, ICL domestic sales volume of 2.44 million tonnes was up 11.9 per cent on q-o-q basis. Jio Platforms Q2 net profit jumps 13% to ₹7,379 crore on higher ARPU

Jio Platforms on Friday reported a 12.8 per cent year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 7,379 crore for the July-September quarter of 2025-26, driven by a rise in average revenue per user and higher traction in fixed wireless access service, JioAirFiber. The revenue from operations of Jio Platforms, which houses Reliance Industries' telecom and digital businesses, rose 14.6 per cent to Rs 36,332 crore in the September quarter compared to Rs 31,709 crore in the year-ago period. The gross revenue stood at Rs 42,652 crore in the second quarter of FY25, 14.9 per cent higher than the corresponding period of the previous year. ARPU - a key metric for telcos - increased by 8.4 per cent to Rs 211.4 during the reported quarter from Rs 195.1 a year ago. Jio added over 10 lakh new homes each month, taking the total connected premises to about 2.3 crore with fixed broadband. LTTS Q2 results: PAT up 3% to ₹328.7 cr, revenue rises 16% to ₹2,979 cr

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) on Friday reported a 2.8 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 328.7 crore in the quarter ending September 2025. It had reported a profit (attributable to equity shareholders of the company) of Rs 319.6 crore in the year-ago period, according to regulatory filings. Revenue from operations for the quarter under review came in at Rs 2,979.5 crore, 15.8 per cent higher than Rs 2,573 crore registered in the second quarter of FY25. Sequentially, profit and revenue rose by 4.1 per cent and 3.9 per cent, respectively. AU Small Finance Q2 net profit slips 2% to ₹561 cr despite income rise

AU Small Finance Bank on Friday reported a 2 per cent dip in net profit at Rs 561 crore for the second quarter ended September 30. The bank had a net profit of Rs 571 crore in the July-September quarter of FY25. Net total income rose 9 per cent to Rs 2,857 crore, while operating expenses was up 11 per cent Y-o-Y to Rs 1,647 crore during the quarter. Provisioning during the quarter rose 29 per cent to Rs 481 crore. Total deposits stands at over Rs 1.32 lakh crore with 21 per cent YoY growth. Bank of India Q2 FY26 results: Net profit rises 7.6% to ₹2,554 crore

State-owned Bank of India (BoI) on Friday reported a 7.6 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 2,554 crore in the September quarter of FY26. The bank posted a net profit of Rs 2,374 crore in the July-September quarter a year ago. Total income rose to Rs 20,626 crore during the September quarter of FY26, from Rs 19,872 crore in the year-ago period. Gross non-performing assets (NPA) of BoI improved to 2.54 per cent of advances in Q2 compared to 4.41 per cent in Q2 of FY25. Provisioning for non-performing assets during the quarter under review was Rs 472 crore as against Rs 1,427 crore in Q2 of FY25. Shares of BoI settled at Rs 123.3 apiece, down 1.67 per cent over the previous close on the BSE.

Karur Vysya Bank Q2 FY26 results: Net profit jumps 21% to ₹574 crore

Karur Vysya Bank on Friday reported a 21 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 574 crore for the second quarter ended September 30. The private sector bank had a net profit of Rs 474 crore for the July-September quarter. Total income rose to Rs 3,320 crore in Q2 against Rs 2,856 crore in Q2 of FY25. Provisioning also increased to Rs 274 crore during the September quarter of FY26, from Rs 180 crore in the year-ago period. Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy reports ₹477.62 cr loss in Q2

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy on Friday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 477.62 crore in the September quarter, due to an exception item of Rs 580.10 crore during the period under review. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 8.57 crore in the quarter ended on September 30, 2024, a BSE filing showed. Last year, a wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) company of the group terminated a contract with a major subcontractor in a particular geography for delays and default of its obligations under the contract, the statement said. During the quarter, an arbitral tribunal passed an interim award in this matter whereby the claims made by WOS, totalling Rs 485.64 crore (USD 55.06 million), considered recoverable were dismissed, and the subcontractor has been granted a claim amount of Rs 56.80 crore (USD 6.44 million) plus interest. Central Bank of India Q2 results: Net profit rises 33% to ₹1,213 crore

State-owned Central Bank of India on Friday reported a 33 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 1,213 crore for the second quarter ended September 30. The bank had a net profit of Rs 913 crore in the July-September quarter of FY25. Total business grew by 14.43 per cent to over Rs 7.38 lakh crore from over Rs 6.45 lakh crore. Total deposits were up by 13.40 per cent to over Rs 4.44 lakh crore against Rs 3.92 lakh crore. Gross NPA stood at 3.01 per cent as of Q2 FY26, compared to 4.59 per cent in the year-ago period, registering an improvement of 158 basis points. Shares of Central Bank of India were trading at Rs 37.01 apiece, down 2.53 per cent over the previous close on the BSE.
