Reliance Retail contributed over 63% of sales of Future Consumer in FY22

Reliance Retail was the largest customer of Future Consumer Ltd (FCL) in FY22, contributing 63.06 per cent of its sales, according to the annual report of the Kishore Biyani-led Future group's FMCG arm. FCL is engaged in the business of sourcing, manufacturing, branding, marketing and distributing food and processed food items and health and personal care (HPC) products. In the annual report, the list of top customers who individually contribute more than 10 per cent of FCL's total revenue mentions only two companies -- Reliance Retail and FRL -- which together contributed Rs 854.22 crore of its total revenue of Rs 970.08 crore, or nearly 88 per cent. Reliance Retail contributed Rs 611.75 crore, said the report, adding that the failure of the Rs 24,713 crore deal with Reliance Group in April this year had a significant impact on its business. Future group's flagship company Future Retail (FRL), now facing insolvency proceedings, contributed Rs 242.47 crore, which is around 25 per .

Reliance to enter FMCG business this year, partner 10 mn merchants in 5 yrs

Reliance Retail will launch its FMCG business this year, Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd Director Isha Ambani said on Monday. The objective of this business will be to develop and deliver products and solve every Indian's daily needs, with high quality products at affordable pricing, she said while addressing Reliance Industries' annual general meeting. "This year, we will launch our FMCG goods business," she said. Besides, Reliance Retail will start marketing goods produced by Indian artisans. Retail to Isha, new energy to Anant: RIL chairman details succession plan

Billionaire Mukesh Ambani on Monday introduced daughter Isha as leader of his conglomerate's retail business as he details succession planning at India's most valuable firm. Ambani had previously named son Akash as chairman of the group's telecom arm, Reliance Jio. At Reliance Industries Ltd's 45th annual shareholders meeting, Ambani introduced Isha as leader of retail business as he invited her to speak on integrating WhatsApp with the retail business. Isha, 30, gave a presentation on placing online grocery orders using WhatsApp and making payments. Ambani, 65, has three children twins Akash and Isha and youngest son Anant.
