Ministry of Home Affairs issues notice to Rahul Gandhi over his citizenship

New Delhi, Apr 30 (ANI): Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday issued a notice to Congress President Rahul Gandhi over his citizenship. The MHA asked the Congress president to clarify his position on his nationality after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy cited a British company's document to allege that Rahul Gandhi is a British national. The MHA has asked Rahul Gandhi to respond in the matter within a fortnight. Earlier this month, the BJP had first raised the issue of the Congress president's citizenship, citing the same documents.

Security guard was held on April 29 for killing a 6-year-old girl and having sex with corpse. He was arrested soon after the girl's body was recovered from the forest on Saturday morning. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Janmejay Khanduri said, "Children playing with the girl told us that she was last seen with the accused. He has confessed to the crime. Evidence also confirms his involvement." Further investigation is underway.

New Delhi, Apr 30 (ANI): Researchers have claimed that mesothelioma patients are twice as likely to survive for two years when they are given a high dose of radiation to the affected side of the trunk. The study presented at the Estro 38 meeting looked at patients whose cancers could not be completely removed with surgery and the researchers say their findings have the potential to change treatment and outcomes for this group of patients. Mesothelioma is a rare but aggressive form of cancer that grows in the layers of tissues surrounding the lungs. It is usually caused by exposure to asbestos. Patients typically only live for a year or two following diagnosis since treatment options are very limited. The study involved 108 patients with malignant pleural mesothelioma who were treated at the National Cancer Institute of Aviano, Italy, between 2014 and 2018. Fire under control at Big Bazaar outlet in Mumbai
