Bihar Board exams for Intermediate level begin

Patna (Bihar), Feb 03 (ANI): Bihar Board's Intermediate level exam started from February 03. Students reached to exam centers in Patna to give their exams. Parents also accompanied their children to boost up their morale. High security arrangements were made at the exam centers. Police forces were also deployed outside the exam centers. Examination Controller of JD Women's College, Dr Ashok Kumar Yadav said, "We have arranged proper drinking water facility for students and decorated the exam centers as per convenience of the students. We have assigned people to guide students to their way to examination rooms. Our aim is to conduct exams peacefully." Intermediate level exams or 12th class exams will end on Feb 13, 2020.

Delhi polls: Instigating speeches being monitored, says CP Amulya Patnaik

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Ahead of Delhi Assembly elections, Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik said that they are monitoring instigating speeches during the election rallies; they had also deployed more than 40,000 staff and 19,000 home guards for security arrangements. "I would like to assure that Delhi Police made detailed arrangement. More than 40,000 staff will be deployed from Delhi Police itself and 19,000 home guards have been deployed. Few months back, we've handled Lok Sabha polls very professionally," said Police Commissioner. "The instigating speeches are being monitored and in some cases, the Election Commission has also taken cognizance. The vulnerable locations will be covered and no obstacle will be entertained during elections," CP Amulya Patnaik further added.

Delhi Police appeals Shaheen Bagh protesters to move protest from main road

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Delhi Police again appealed Shaheen Bagh protesters to move the protest from the main road. Commissioner of Delhi Police Amulya Patnaik said, "We are appealing to protestors at Shaheen Bagh as they are mostly women and children; we thought it's better to approach them in a persuasive manner. We are hopeful that gradually they will realize that people are facing inconvenience and they will listen to Delhi Police and clear it". "Since it has been persisting for a long time, we had put barricades and proper arrangements there," added CP Amulya Patnaik. Commissioner of Delhi Police also reacted over firing incident in Shaheen Bagh area. He said, "Due to police deployment the persons who came there with arms didn't have the courage to do something more. One-two incidents did take place but they are isolated incidents. We have made elaborate arrangements at Shaheen Bagh as well as other protest sites."

The 'Cartist' initiative gives artistic touches to worn out cars that will be showcased at Auto Expo 2020. Theme of 'Cartist' is zero waste, sustainable, recycle and reuse. While dismantling cars could arguably be environment-friendly, but turning scrapped cars into artwork will leave almost no carbon footprint, according to a member. Scrapped cars have been transformed into furniture, decorative and artifacts.

Two scooter-borne assailants opened fire at midnight near gate number 5 of Jamia. No injuries were reported in the incident. Investigation is underway. EC organises special event at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan for voter awareness

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): To aware voters of their electoral rights, Delhi Chief Electoral Office (CEO) organised SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation program) at Ramlila ground on Feb 02. Coronovirus: Another batch of 300 Indians evacuated from China's Wuhan

New Delhi, Feb 02 (ANI): Around 300 Indians, who arrived in an Air India special flight from Wuhan in China at Delhi Airport on February morning, have been taken to Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) camp for medical observation. They have been shifted to the paramilitary force's Chhawla camp in New Delhi. Both ITBP and Army have created n-coronavirus quarantine facilities for the passengers coming from Chinese city of Wuhan. The coronavirus outbreak has killed more than 250 people and infected over 9,000 in China. On the other side, two people from Kerala have tested positive for the virus in India.

Delhi polls: Congress releases manifesto, promises anti-NRC, Lokpal, pollution-free steps

Congress promised to go to Supreme Court as the Government of Delhi, against the Citizenship Amendment Act, if it comes to power.
