Hegde belongs to the cadre that works for the Britishers. The way Nathuram Godse 'bhakts' are increasing in the BJP, it's high time now BJP should renamed as 'Nathuram Godse' party."

Kirit Somaiya filed complaint against anti-national slogans raised during Mumbai Pride Parade

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has filed a complaint against anti-national slogans raised in support of Sharjeel Imam during Mumbai Pride Parade. While speaking to ANI, he said, "I have filed a complaint with Mumbai Police on anti-national slogans raised in support of Sharjeel Imam during Mumbai Pride Parade on February 01. Mumbai, Feb 03 (ANI): Market expert Sunil Shah said that the market will get stability after getting clarity on budget. He said, "As I talk to you right now, the Sensex is up by around 180 points. As the market will get clarity on budget, stability will return in the market. Due to the high expectation with budget, market dipped to low levels." The market dipped to a decade-low after presentation of Union Budget, however, Sensex edged up by 178 points on morning of February 03.

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that Shaheen Bagh firing incident is the product of government's mind. He said, "The firing is happening at Shaheen Bagh because Government wants to create such kind of atmosphere. This is a product of the government's mind. What I feel is if Government wants to stop it, they can stop it." Speaking on that Maharashtra Government is supporting NRC but opposing CAA, he said, "It is not easy to get someone out of India. Home Minister had said that CAA is to give citizenship and not to take anyone's but if it is about giving citizenship then we will see to whom and to how many will they provide the citizenship of India. Uddhav Thackeray has said that CAA and NRC are two different things. It is not right to use law for vote bank politics."

Equity indices in green early trading

Mumbai (Maharashtra), Feb 03 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices were in the green during early hours on Monday after they witnessed a sharp downswing on February 01, the day government tabled Union Budget 2020. It is seemed that budget proposals failed to impress investors. At the National Stock Exchange, most sectoral indices were in the green. Nifty Bank moved up by 0.42 per cent, auto by 0.74 per cent, IT by 0.35 per cent and metal by 0.44 per cent. However, Nifty FMCG was down by 0.20 per cent.

Bihar Board exams for Intermediate level begin

Patna (Bihar), Feb 03 (ANI): Bihar Board's Intermediate level exam started from February 03. Students reached to exam centers in Patna to give their exams. Parents also accompanied their children to boost up their morale. High security arrangements were made at the exam centers. Police forces were also deployed outside the exam centers. Examination Controller of JD Women's College, Dr Ashok Kumar Yadav said, "We have arranged proper drinking water facility for students and decorated the exam centers as per convenience of the students. We have assigned people to guide students to their way to examination rooms. Our aim is to conduct exams peacefully." Intermediate level exams or 12th class exams will end on Feb 13, 2020.

Delhi polls: Instigating speeches being monitored, says CP Amulya Patnaik

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Ahead of Delhi Assembly elections, Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik said that they are monitoring instigating speeches during the election rallies; they had also deployed more than 40,000 staff and 19,000 home guards for security arrangements. "I would like to assure that Delhi Police made detailed arrangement. More than 40,000 staff will be deployed from Delhi Police itself and 19,000 home guards have been deployed. Few months back, we've handled Lok Sabha polls very professionally," said Police Commissioner. New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Delhi Police again appealed Shaheen Bagh protesters to move the protest from the main road. Commissioner of Delhi Police Amulya Patnaik said, "We are appealing to protestors at Shaheen Bagh as they are mostly women and children; we thought it's better to approach them in a persuasive manner.
