New Delhi, May 04(ANI): Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Dr. Harsh Vardhan's statement that more stringent actions were to be taken by the state government said that all guidelines issued by the central government have been implemented in all zones. He said, "The state government has not issued any guidelines for red zones, we have implemented all the guidelines issued by the central government." On COVID-19 situation in the state, Satyendar Jain confirmed 4549 total cases in the state.
Ahmedabad (Gujarat), May 04 (ANI): The local civil hospital in Gujarat's Ahmedabad, which are treating COVID-19 patients have allowed video calling facility for them. Hospital authorities have accepted patients request to allow contacting their families. The patients were seen calling their relatives at hospital premises. Patients got emotional when they saw their families after a long time. Patients applauded medical staff efforts to contain coronavirus pandemic. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Gujarat jumped to 5,428 mark including 290 deaths.

New Delhi, May 04(ANI): Amid lockdown relaxations, police resorts to mild 'lathi-charge' to control the public as they were not following social distancing norms outside liquor shops at Kashmiri Gate. Social distancing norms went for a toss as people did not maintain 1-metre distance after which police had to lathi-charge in order to disperse the crowd.

Social distancing norms went for a toss as people did not maintain 1-metre distance. Irrespective of police force deployment, chaos was created outside the liquor shops.

Saharnpur (UP), May 04 (ANI): The Radha Soami Satsang Beas Ashram facility in Saharnpur city of Uttar Pradesh has become a shelter house for hundreds of stranded migrant workers, who left for their homes during nationwide lockdown amid COVID-19 pandemic. These workers had left for their homes but got stranded in the city. Though the administration transported around 4000 to their destinations but still around 900 of them remained stuck in Saharanpur. Here, these workers are now looked after by the Radha Soami Satsang Beas, who along with local administration made proper bed arrangements for them under huge sheds, maintaining social distancing. Hygienic and healthy food, which is made in the ashram's modern and clean community kitchen, is also served to them three times a day. Police ensured that social distancing was practiced and there was no chaos in the queues. They also instructed the migrant workers to wear masks. A volunteer said, "Here they are only doing the checking, when will the train come, how many trains will come, no one is informed about that."

Kalaburagi (Karnataka), May 04(ANI): Amid nationwide lockdown, migrant workers gathered at Central Bus Stand in Kalaburagi on May 04. These migrant workers are heading towards their hometowns. Kalaburagi City Corporation Commissioner Rahul Pandve said, "We've made arrangements for registration. Thermal screening is being done for all." He further said, "Food packets and water bottles are being provided to all. Buses carrying migrant workers started arriving since 5 am today. We are expecting around 70 buses. This process will continue for next 3 days."
Ambala (Haryana), May 04 (ANI): Massive fire broke out at sanitizer and textile factory in Haryana's Ambala on May 03. Nine fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to douse the flames. Siliguri (WB), May 04(ANI): Amid lockdown extension and certain relaxations given by the government, Siliguri tea gardens observed movement as labourers got back to work. Following government's rule of keeping 25% labour, tea garden owners are using labours in rotation. Daily wage workers who work in the tea garden said, "We are daily wage workers, right now, we are getting work for 2 days in a week, it has become difficult to run our families." He further added that the loss which we have suffered in this year is equal to 10 years.
