Siliguri (West Bengal), Sep 11 (ANI): Two-day long International Photo Contest and Exhibition 2019 is organised by photo lovers in West Bengal's Siliguri on September 10. The photo exhibition was named as 'Exposure'. More than 179 images were displayed at the exhibition hall based on nature, wildlife, culture, street, landscape, portrait, global warming and wedding. The main aim behind exhibition is to create a platform for the amateur and skilled photographers to showcase their talent.
New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Ralph Gonsalves met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in Delhi on September 11. The leaders agreed to enhance cooperation between the two countries. Earlier, Gonsalves also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Seraikela Kharsawan (Jharkhand), Sep 11 (ANI): Over two months since 24-year-old Tabrez Ansari was beaten up by mobs in Jharkhand's Seraikela Kharsawan district for alleged robbery, the state police has dropped murder charges under IPC Section 302 in the chargesheet filed against the 11 accused in the case. In July, 11 people were arrested for brutally assaulting Tabrez Ansari, forcing him to chant 'Jai Shri Ram' in a video that was circulated online. He was thrashed on the allegations of bike theft and was made to chant 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Jai Hanuman'. While speaking to ANI, SP of Seraikela Kharsawan Karthik S said, "Chargesheet has been filed against 11 accused, murder case could not be made based on the findings of the postmortem report. We have chargesheeted it as culpable homicide." Amaravati (AP), Sep 11 (ANI): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu on September 11 said that the Andhra Pradesh government is violating human rights and fundamental rights. While speaking to mediapersons, he said, "This government is violating human rights and fundamental rights. I am warning the government. I am warning police also. You cannot play this type of politics. You cannot control us by arresting. Whenever they allow me, I'll continue 'Chalo Atmakur'." Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Sep 11 (ANI): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his son, Nara Lokesh have been put under preventive detention at their house. TDP leaders and workers were stopped by police and taken into preventive custody in Andhra Pradesh's Amaravati on September 11. They were trying to go to former AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu's residence and were stopped by Andhra Pradesh Police. Police have arrested them in view of party's call for 'Chalo Atmakur' rally alleging political violence by YSR Congress Party. Section 144 has been imposed in several areas of the state. As per the information given by police, TDP has no permission for conducting the rally. TDP MP Kesineni Nani was also detained by AP Police near Prakasam barrage. He and his followers sat on the barrage for few moments.
Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), Sep 11 (ANI): During the monsoon season, sinking zones in Shimla have been increased. The ridge area was sinking and the cracks had appeared on the some parts of the ground. Shimla Municipal authorities had involved scientists and experts to study this issue in past two years. This year more cracks have been developed near the ridge and Lakkar Bazar area. Since 1918, the issue of sinking of ridge was reported and it remains the same in current time as well. Temporary measures will not help to stop the sinking areas as permanent remedies are required to solve the matter. The local residents and shopkeepers are worried about future as apart from their shops the schools of their kids also come under this zone.
