PM Modi attends presentation of conclusion of CEOs Forum

Madrid (Spain), May 31 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Spanish President Mariano Rajoy, attended the presentation of conclusion of CEOs Forum in Madrid, Spain. During the event, several agreements in various fields were also exchanged between India and Spain. Ahead of the event, the two world leaders were seen having a gala time while walking together at a garden of the grand La Moncloa Palace. Prime Minister Modi is currently on the second leg of his four-nation tour to Europe. From Spain, he will head to Russia.

Baloch people come out on streets demanding removal of nuclear weapons from Balochistan

Sweden/ London/ Canada/ Germany, May 31 (ANI): Free Balochistan Movement, an international Baloch Lobbying Group which lobbies for the freedom of Balochistan in different countries of the world, held protests in several western countries, including Sweden, London, Canada and Germany, as part of its ongoing international awareness campaign for the freedom of Balochistan. Hundreds of protesters, including men, women and children, came out on streets against the atrocities and removal of nuclear weapons by Pakistanis in Balochistan. The protesters were carrying placards and banners with different slogans against Pakistan's nuclear weapons and China-Pakistani nexus.

50 feared dead in explosion near Indian embassy

Kabul (Afghanistan), May 31 (ANI): At least 50 people are feared dead after a suicide car bomb attack near the Indian embassy in Kabul on Wednesday morning. The explosion, which was targeted at Iranian embassy, occurred nearby the Indian embassy located 1.5 kilometres away from it. Union Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj said that the staff of Indian embassy did not suffer in the blast. "By God's grace, Indian Embassy staff are safe in the massive #Kabul blast," Swaraj tweeted. According to sources, the Indian Embassy has suffered some damage in the form of broken windows due to pressure waves arising from the explosion. Officials of the embassy are, however, safe, the sources added. Many foreign embassies are located in the area, including the American and Canadian missions. The Afghan National Security Force (ANSF) has deployed its team in the area for rescue and counter-insurgency operations.

Nepal postpones second phase of local elections

Kathmandu (Nepal), May 30 (ANI): The upcoming second phase local level elections in Nepal have been postponed by nine days. It was decided in cabinet meeting held on Monday. The Southern Phase of Nepal will exercise their voting rights on June 23. The care-taker government of Nepal last week decided to increase the number of local levels in the Terai region but received a stay order from the Supreme Court, which directed the government to hold the election in 461 local units. The Election Commission of Nepal previously has completed the task of preparations for the second tire of election and expressed its displeasure citing technical difficulties.

1 dead, 2 injured after Nepal Army Military Cargo plane crash lands in Bajura

Bajura, Nepal May 30 (ANI): A cargo plane of Nepal Army with call sign NA- 048 crash landed in the rural airport of Bajura district of Nepal on Tuesday. Two members of the cabin and an army official were inside the boarded plane which took off for Simikot of Humla district with food essentials from Nepal Food Corporation. Captain Kailash Gurung of the crashed Sky Truck in Bajura, far-western district of Nepal has succumbed to his injuries. Two of the other three members in the cargo plane have sustained injuries.
