Kotli (PoK), May 09 (ANI): Continuing their protest against Pakistan's atrocities, people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) again raised their voices and came out on the streets in Kotli. A massive protest rally was organised by the Kashmir National Awami Party (KANP) and National Students Federation (NSF). Talking about the atrocities of Pakistan, a woman activist said the children of PoK would not know anything about the history and geography of the region as they are studying in Pakistan schools. Mand (Balochistan), May 07 (ANI): Baloch activist and leader of the Baloch Republican Party (BRP) Abdul Nawaz Bugti on Sunday alleged that the Pakistani Army of brutally killing six Baloch people and throwing away their bodies in the region of Mand, on false charges of terrorism. Asserting that the deceased were not terrorists but innocent people, Bugti appealed the international media and international communities to highlight the issue at the global front. Another Baloch activist Naela Qadri demanded that the United Nations should send a fact-finding delegation to Balochistan to take stock of the prevailing situations. Activist Mazdak Baloch also reiterated similar sentiments.
Brussels (Belgium), May 07 (ANI): Balochistan's Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti was on Saturday heckled by activist Munir Mengal at an event in Brussels, where the delegation highlighted the economic potential of the Balochistan province. A nine-member delegation, led by Sarfaraz Bugti, was on a visit to the German capital to brief Belgian businessmen on the economic opportunities in Balochistan in the wake of Gwadar Port and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). After the verbal spat, Munir Mengal alleged that he was abused and threatened by the delegation members. Earlier, Balochistan's Chief Minister was to attend the event but he later back traced.

Kathmandu (Nepal), May 5 (ANI): The parliamentary meeting which was scheduled to hold discussion over the impeachment motion against Chief Justice Shusila Karki was differed as the opposition obstructed the meeting. The house was scheduled to hold discussion over the impeachment motion against CJ Karki which was registered last month. The opposition MPs, led by the main opposition CPN-UML (Communist Party of Nepal- Marxist-Leninist), came down from their seat and chanted slogans defying the impeachment. Kathmandu, Nepal, May 05 (ANI): The protest against the impeachment of Nepal Supreme Court's Chief Justice Sushila Karki has gained momentum in Nepal. The first ever female chief justice of Nepal, Karki is now suspended after an impeachment proposal was registered by the MP's of Nepali Congress and Maoist Center in the Parliament Secretariat. The impeachment proposal, which is said to have been signed by 251 lawmakers, has claimed that the Chief Justice Karki showed biases while making the verdict and that she had interfered with the executive powers. The Nepali Congress Lawmaker Min Bahadur Bishwakarma and Maoist Lawmaker Tek Bahadur Basnet had led the motionon Sunday. Karachi, May 05 (ANI): Pakistan's maritime security authorities arrested 30 Indian fishermen and impounded five boats for allegedly fishing in Pakistan's territorial waters, a police official said on Thursday. The fishermen were arrested and were brought to Docks Police Station in the southern port city of Karachi for necessary legal action. Fishermen are expected to appear in a court of law on Friday.
San Francisco, May 05 (ANI): An NRI couple was killed in San Jose by their daughter's jilted lover who was later shot dead by the police. The accused Mirza Tatlic, had a criminal restraining order and reportedly after killing his former girlfriend Rachel Prabhu's father Naren Prabhu, Tatlic took his wife and son as hostage. The SWAT team was called to neutralise the situation and following a standoff, Tatlic was shot but it also resulted in the killing of woman who was held hostage.

Frankfurt (Germany), May 01 (ANI): Condemning Pakistan's act of mutilating bodies of two Indian soldiers, Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz's chairman Shafi Muhammad Burfat on Monday asserted this inhuman act proves that Pakistan is a terrorist state which does not want peace and harmony with its neighboring countries. Burfat said that Pakistan has always supported terrorism and is the main reason behind the increasing tensions between the India and Pakistan. Leeds (United Kingdom), May 01 (ANI): A group of delegates from different European countries and across the United Kingdom gathered in Leeds to debate at a seminar titled 'Preventing annexation of Gilgit-Baltistan and Further Division of Jammu and Kashmir. The way Forward.' The seminar focused upon opposing Pakistan's designs proposed to annex strategic Gilgit-Baltistan region as its fifth province. The seminar was organised by the United Kashmir Peoples National Party (UKPNP). Members Parliament of the U.K. and Councillors were the key guests in the seminar. Speaking at the event, party's Chief Shaukat Ali Kashmiri talked about the withdrawal of Pakistani forces from the regions of Pakistan occupied Kashmri (PoK) and Gilgit Baltistan. It was the third such convention organised by UKPNP.
Kathmandu, Nepal, 29 April (ANI): Law Minister of Nepal Ajay Shankar Nayak claimed that the new amendment bill will be endorsed by the opposition parties as well. The government has tabled a new amendment proposal with some revisions in it after the agitating parties made an objection. Though the government has tabled the amendment proposal, the formal discussion is yet to start. Law Minister Nayak also informed that the formal discussion over the amendment bill will get started at tomorrow's parliamentary meeting.
Brussels (Belgium), Apr 29 (ANI): Gilgit-Baltistan leader Abdul Hamid Khan on Saturday said that the people of Gilgit Baltistan will vote for India if referendum happened by saying the people are aware about the atrocities committed by the Pakistani army. Balawaristan National Front (BNF) Chairman Abdul Hamid Khan said that Gilgit-Baltistan is a disputed area where Pakistani army has made human right violations. The leader who had earlier sent a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India is legally and morally obligated to liberate the people of the region from Pakistani occupation. The leader further added that by passing China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project they would have Rs. 42 billion will be in their pockets.
Kathmandu, Nepal, 29 April (ANI): Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal accepted that technical difficulties will be there during polls on 14 May which is to be held in two phases and sought support from other political parties. Admitting the technical difficulties in all party meet at PM's residence Baluwatar, Prime Minister Dahal asked for support from the opposition and other parties in passing the amendment bill which the government tabled earlier. The opposition CPN- UML (Communist Party of Nepal- Unified Marxist Leninist) is against holding the election in two phases. Leader of other parties, both the governing and the opposition, suggested Prime Minister Dahal to organise single phased polls and bring the budget after the completion of the local elections.
