Palandari, PoK, April 02, 2019:- A large number of protesters took to the streets of Palandari region in Pakistan occupied Kashmir after the law enforcement agencies arrested few youths for raising their voice against the apathy and discrimination of the government. They were falsely implicated after they carried out a demonstration against the administration in the aftermath of the death of a local owing to doctors' negligence and absence of an adequate healthcare system in the region. People shouted anti-government slogans and sought an immediate release of arrested youths. Local leaders demanded the administration to expeditiously deliver justice. They also warned authorities with consequences if it continued with oppressive measures.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Monday launched the PSLV-C45 from Sriharikota’s Satish Dhawan Space Centre. Santiago (Chile), Apr 02 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind addressed students of University of Santiago in Chile where he told them about the Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Kovind said, "Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of our Nation, brought us freedom through a non-violent struggle. His political strategy rested on the moral force, a force that he called truth force." He further said, "His life had several forces, each more meaningful than the other. For me, he was the 'Experimental Gandhi' define class and race boundaries to go to England for higher studies. He was unique in his approach. A close associate to Gandhi said that Mahatma is a combination of 'kranti' and 'shanti'. This made him an inspiring illustration of courage and struggle- the courage to retain the clarity of thought and conviction. Mississauga (Canada), Apr 01 (ANI): Canadian Sindhi Community staged a protest in Mississauga, Canada against forced conversion and marriages of Hindu girls in Pakistan. Various Sindhi Diasporas migrated from Pakistan to Canada showed their concern about this inhuman act during the protest. They highlighted the recent case of kidnapping and forced conversion of two minor Hindu girls in Pakistan. Abductions and forced conversions is an issue faced by all of the minority religions across Pakistan, but in particular, it is the most serious problem facing by Hindu and Christian women and girls, mainly minor girls. It has been estimated that hundreds of women and girls from religious minorities are abducted, forcibly converted and then married to their abductors every year.
Bara/ Birgunj (Nepal), Apr 01 (ANI): Atleast 35 people have died and more than 400 have been injured in rainstorms in Nepal. Over 100 Army personnel have been deployed in the affected areas. The security forces are on high alert and two MI 17 helicopters have been kept in standby for deployment in case of emergency. Rescue operations are underway and people injured during the rainstorm have been safely shifted to a hospital in Birgunj.

Reportedly, the question paper of Social Studies which was scheduled to be held on Friday was leaked on Thursday evening which promoted the authorities to cancel the exam. London (United Kingdom), Mar 30 (ANI): Fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi's bail plea was rejected by the Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday (local time). The next hearing is scheduled for April 26. This is the second time that Nirav Modi's bail plea has been rejected. His first request was turned down on March 20. Judge Marie Mallon had cited the "high value of amount involved in the allegations" as the reason behind the rejection of his first bail plea. During the hearing, Toby Chadman, who is representing the Crown prosecution on behalf of the Indian authorities argued that Nirav Modi may destroy evidence and try to bribe and threaten potential witnesses if granted bail.
