Everonn Education posts Rs 63 cr loss

Everonn Education Ltd has reported a loss of Rs 63.03 crore during the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012, as compared to profit of Rs 26.2 crore, during the same period last year.

The company's total income dropped by 32.94% to Rs 89.77 crore from Rs 133.87 crore, a year ago.

Total expenses rose by around 58% to Rs 150.92 crore from Rs 95.51 crore,in the back drop of increase in employment benefits expense which rose to Rs 26.64 crore from Rs 19.48 crore, an increase of around 36%.

Meanwhile, promoter and promoter group shareholding in the company rose to 43.59% from 18.58% a year ago.
