CSE index gains 40.35 points
The CSE-40 index closed at 6753.05 points after opening at Rs 6712.70.
Larsen & Toubro gained 50 paise and closed at Rs 1610.50.
Reliance Industries lost Re one after opening at Rs 845.
State Bak of India gained Rs 19.95 and closed at Rs 2295.95.
Tata Steel gained Rs 2.35 and closed at Rs 405.
