Elecon in tie up with ACC, Gujarat Ambuja

Elecon Engineering Company Ltd, a leading manufacturers of material handling equipment, industrial gears and transmission products has announced that its material handling equipment (MHE) division has signed an agreement with ACC and Gujarat Ambuja Cement Ltd.
 
Under the agreement Elecon Engineering will supply five sets of broad/meter gauge wagon tipplers along with side arm charger and apron feeder worth Rs 24.40 crore to ACC and Gujarat Ambuja Cement Ltd.
 
Prayasvin Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, Elecon Engineering said, “The order is worth Rs 24.40 crore from ACC and Gujarat Ambuja Cement Limited. The wagon tipplers are designed for unloading broad-gauge open rail wagons while the side arm charger will be used for hauling rake of wagons, placement of wagons on tippler table and evacuation of empty wagons from tippler table. The apron feeder is rugged and dependable and is designed to receive and control the flow of material from bins and hoppers.”
 
Recently, Elecon bagged orders from NTPC Ltd worth Rs 237 crore for supply and installation of coal handling plant package complete on turnkey basis for their NCTPP, Dadri Stage-II (2 x 490Mw) thermal power project and the Indian Navy to supply the main propulsion gearboxes for India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier.
