Scientist bags DRDO award

He received the award from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh recently, an official press release said.
The award has been given to him for his contributions on the development of "tracked vehicles" for Akash, Trishul and Nag missiles as ground support equipment that are responsible for deployment of radar, launchers and command centre, the release said.
Raghavan, an alumnus of the Anna University, had an expertise of more than three decades in the field of research and development activities in Armoured Fighting Vehicles design, the release said.
