10 Woodland stores in the north by March

Aeroclub, which owns the Woodland brand, is planning to open 10 more Woodland stores in the northern region by the end of this financial year.
 
Moreover, with the launch of denim trousers, the company is planning to achieve a growth rate of 40 per cent and increase its sales turnover to Rs 350 crore in three years.
 
Also, to achieve the growth, the firm has decided to focus more aggressively on apparel this year. Currently, apparel accounts for 30 per cent of the company's turnover. In 2005-06, the turnover of the company was Rs 150 crore, whereas the premium shoes segment contributes 30-35 per cent of the turnover.
 
To meet this growth target, the company has recently set up 5 new factories in Baddi, Paonta Sahib and Dehradun. Moreover, the company's emphasis will be more on retail to achieve the growth target.
 
Talking to Business Standard, Woodland, Geneneral Manager(Sales & Marketing), Lokesh Mishra said, "The company plans to increase its product range in the apparel segment , both for men and women. In near future, we are going to launch denim shorts and skirts also and array of new products. Presently for the apparel segment the company has plant in Noida.
