Cleartrip launches flights, hotels instant search

Cleartrip has introduced the 'Flights-Hotel search' for its customers with the flexiblity to choose the airline and hotel of their choice in a snap.

This is a customised product which provides customers the ability to search and book roundtrip flights and hotel-stay while monitoring their overall budget, Sandeep Murthy, Chief Executive Officer, Cleartrip, said.

The new 'Flights plus Hotel Search' comes with many unique features that benefit the customer. A rich client interface allows the user to instantly sort and filter results based on his preferences.

The combo enables hotels to be filtered based on star rating, area, chain, price and amenities, Murthy said flights can be filtered on airlines, price, time, number of stops and ticket type.

The price is also instantly updated based on the selection, he added. Murthy further said that, "We have always been thinking about how to innovate and present products in a differentiated manner that will assist in making planning and booking for travel simple and enjoyable".

"Cleartrip estimates 30 per cent growth in air and hotel booking with the introduction of our 'Flights + Hotel search', he said.

He said the Cleartrip plans to enter the international air ticketing plus hotel segment in the next two months as part of its expansion plan.s
