Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.
Patel Engineering's Managing Director Kavita Shirvaikar said, "Our focus remains on delivering long-term value for our stakeholders while continuously enhancing operational efficiency and output."

Shriram Finance is aiming to double gold loans' contribution in the overall loanbook to 5 per cent over the next three years, joining a slew of lenders ramping up focus in the more secure and high-value retail segment.
The non-bank lender is also keen to increase the share of micro, small and medium enterprises in the overall loan portfolio over the medium term to 20 per cent, a top official has said.
"Around 2.5 per cent of our loan book comes from the gold loan segment now. We want to grow it to 5 per cent in the next three years," its executive vice chairman Umesh Revankar told PTI recently.
As of June 2026, the lender's overall gold loans outstanding had stood at Rs 7,514 crore, accounting for 2.39 per cent of the overall Rs 3.13 lakh crore book. Realty firm Lodha Developers Ltd is targeting 20 per cent annual growth in net profit this fiscal to Rs 4,100 crore on better demand for its housing properties and strong execution of projects.
In its latest investors presentation, Mumbai-based Lodha Developers highlighted that the company has achieved best ever quarterly profit during April-June period of 2026-27 fiscal.
The company's profit doubled to Rs 1,373.1 crore in April-June from Rs 675 crore in the year-ago period.
On the profit after tax (PAT), Lodha Developers said the company has already achieved 33 per cent of the total guidance of Rs 4,100 crore for the entire 2026-27 fiscal.
The PAT margin improved to 26.9 per cent in June quarter of FY27 from 18.6 per cent a year ago. Total income rose to Rs 5,096.7 crore from Rs 3,624.7 crore.

Enthused by the consistent financial performance of the last four quarters, Punjab National Bank MD and CEO Ashok Chandra exuded confidence that the bank's profit would surpass the Rs 20,000 crore mark this financial year.
