Delhi-based Koyal Online-promoted online shopping portal Efello.com is targeting to achieve Rs 500 crore revenue in the next three years.

In order to achieve this goal, the company is gradually increasing its product range.

“We are looking to achieve Rs 500 crore revenue figure by 2015. For this, we will be increasing the number of countries in which we are operating at present. We are getting queries from many other countries. We are also looking at increasing our product category,” said Pankaj Thapar, co-founder Efello.com.

He said, “We will add jewellery, kid’s wear, furnishing and more variety in men’s wear by next year. From the current 9,000 products, we are working to increase the number of products to 20,000 by the early next year.”

With increasing overseas demand for ethnic wear shopping online, retailers are keeping their inventories ready to meet immediate spike in demand. For this, the company has set up its own manufacturing unit, design team and tailors.

By introducing consumer friendly policies and giving an experience of offline shopping through 'try, experience and buy concept', Efello.com is expecting a raise the number of registrations to 150,000 in a year.

Commenting about the operations of the website, Thaper said, “We are working to ensure an increase in the repeat customer rate, which is presently 25%. Constant quality check, prompt delivery system, variety of products and customer care support are our core focus area in the next three years.”

“Recently, we have launched the fall winter collection and we will launch festival-based product range in the coming days,” added Thapar.

The company reported Rs 8 crore revenue last quarter, and is aiming to cross Rs 20 crore turnover in the current financial year. The company is presently retailing ethnic wear to over 70 countries and 90% of its demand comes from NRIs.
