ElectroMech extends brand with launch of 'Cranedge'

BS Reporter Mumbai/ Pune

Pune-based ElectroMech, industrial crane manufacturer and customised material handling solutions provider, has announced the launch of 'Cranedge', a dedicated service organisation exclusively for providing post-sales service support for crane users. The new offering by ElectroMech will be unveiled at the sixth edition of MAHAtech 2010 Exhibition scheduled to be held at College of Agriculture Ground on Thursday, December 2, 2010.

"Material handling is an unavoidable evil in any production process. Thus unexpected breakdowns of cranes, hoists, winches and other material handling equipment, totally distorts the production process and delivery schedules. In order to reduce and almost eliminate the variability of such unscheduled breakdowns, it is recommended to have a proper maintenance carried out by trained professionals having a crane specific expertise. Cranedge will work on similar lines," said Tushar Mehendale, managing director, ElectroMech.

The service has been launched with an objective to offer unmatched service to ensure safe and peak crane performance. Cranedge through its offering will provide spare support, repairs, services and overhauling, annual maintenance contracts, crane health checks, modifications and retrofits, relocation of cranes and crane safety certification. Cranedge will also ensure maximum up time of your material handling equipment irrespective of the make of the equipment.

Cranedge pursues the concepts of offering service at your doorstep and to reach zero downtime. As a specialist service provider, it is equipped and backed by resources which are essential prerequisites to excel in service and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Cranedge comes with an experienced and trained team strategically located across the nation, supported by a strong logistics and inventory management system.

"Post-sales service for cranes is an area where we find several lacunae in the Indian industry. Services are a big business overseas but not that big in India. However, people are slowly realising the benefits of outsourcing the maintenance of their cranes to specialists, especially where cranes happen to be an integral part of their production process. We aim to leverage our rich experience of more than three decades in this industry and our existing national service network to provide an enhanced range of services to our clients," Mehendale added.

"Keeping in line with ElectroMech's service principles, the Cranedge team is well trained on various aspects to ensure a very high up-time of cranes and ensure safe operations. It is our endeavor to minimise down time and deliver the best in the most challenging conditions," said Raj Srivastav, chief executive officer, Cranedge.
