Glenmark Q3 net up 17% to Rs 110 cr

Drug firm Glenmark today said its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, rose by 16.45 per cent to Rs 109.55 crore.

The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 94.07 crore for the corresponding three-month period of the previous fiscal, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Consolidated net sales of the company for the quarter ending December 31, 2010, rose to Rs 750.81 crore from Rs 641.68 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.

Shares of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals were trading at Rs 307.25 in afternoon trade on the BSE today, up 0.16 per cent from the previous close.
