GSS America net up 34%

Revenues grew 100 per cent to Rs 94.87 crore, as against Rs 47.43 crore, while EPS was at Rs 13.86, as compared with Rs 14.

For the full year, the company reported a net profit of Rs 62.19 crore, as compared with Rs 37.09 crore, a growth of 67.67 per cent, while its revenues rose 81.82 per cent to Rs 298.7 crore, as against Rs 164.28 crore last year. EPS for the full year stood at Rs 46.76, as against Rs 37.84.

 

Attributing the significant growth in revenues to the enlargement of operations and consequent economies besides improved management of costs, Bharghav Marepally, chief executive and CMD of GSS America, said, "The lower growth in net profit was due the amortisation of goodwill arising out of our acquisitions made," adding that the SDS acquisition in the US was completed during January-March 2008 quarter and was expected to contribute to revenues for full year this fiscal.
