IBS arm clinches deal with VISaer

| The Thiruvananthapuram-based IBS Group, a leading software solutions provider to the travel, transportation and logistics industries, has made yet another leap in its growing portfolio, with VISaer Inc, a major player in the aviation maintenance and engineering software solutions segment, announcing additional deals with the group firm, IBS Americas, to provide offshore software development services. |
| With this development, IBS will provide VISaer development and technology assessment resources in support of VISaer(r) Version 3, the company said in Thiruvananthapuram. The VISaer products have been built using Microsoft technologies. |
| IBS Group chairman and managing director V K Mathews said in a statement here that IBS would set up an exclusive pool of resources that would operate as an extension of the VISaer's systems development team. |
| The alliance expansion supplements existing technology, marketing and support agreements. The statement quoting David J Spellman, president and CEO of VISaer said that with IBS establishing itself as a global player in the field of providing IT solutions to airlines and related segments, the new alliance would improve VISaer's ability to market and deliver complex, state-of-the-art maintenance, repair and overhaul solutions on a global basis. |
