Kasliwal family splits jobs among siblings

The Kasliwal family has divided business interests and responsibilities among its five scions "� Mukul, Nitin, Vikas, Ambuj and Warij.

This is aimed at pre-empting squabbles among the family members in future.

The initiative, which was started some time back, was completed on Thursday with Ambuj Kasliwal and Mukul Kasliwal resigning from the board of S Kumar's Nationwide (SKNL).

The cross holding of shares among the family members will be untangled shortly.

According to the new plan, Mukul will look after the power company, Induj Enertech, while SKNL will go to Nitin. The family's real estate business will be taken care by Vikas and Shree Ram Textiles will be managed by Ambuj.

The textiles business in Dewas, which produces and sells school uniforms, will go to Warij. Two brothers "� Abhyakumar and Shambhunath "� came from Rajasthan to start textiles business in Mumbai in 1948.

They got into manufacturing activities by the mid 1970s. The SKNL group was formed in 1990. Mukul, Nitin and Vikas are sons of Shambhunath Kasliwals while Ambuj and Warij are sons of Abhyakumar.
