New Spice Tele Gizmo To Aid Whirlpool Engineers

Bharti-owned Spice Telecom has joined hands with Whirlpool, to implement a new customer service initiative, which aims to slash the response time of Whirlpool engineers to four hours.
Spice Telecom has developed in-house, a special customised software which is equipped to relay customer complaints through SMS to Whirlpool engineers within 30 minutes from the time the customer places its request with the Whirlpool call centre.
Elaborating on the association with Whirlpool, R Mahesh, vice president, marketing, Bharti Mobitel, said: "We are delighted to be associated with Whirlpool and develop the country's first convergent customer support system. This new solution has opened a new avenue for providing service support to corporates."
"This unique Spice initiative will motivate other service organisations in Kolkata to go mobile and service their customers better," he said.
