Right Horizons launches free tax filing campaign

Right Horizons, a Bangalore-based investment advisory and wealth management firm, has launched a free tax filing campaign for the benefit of salaried employees in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.

The week-long free tax returns filing campaign started from July 23 and is on till July 28.

"It is a known fact that there is always a last minute scramble for filing of tax returns.

What has complicated matters this year is the changed tax filing format. As an organisation helping people plan their finances, we felt the need to address their anxieties over filing their returns," Anil Rego, founder and chief executive of Right Horizons, stated in a press release.

The free service will be for a single Form 16. A nominal charge will be applicable depending on further levels of complexity.

Free filing of tax returns will be done on a first-come-first-served basis, the press release added.
