SCI net profit down

Shipping Corporation of India's (SCI) net profit declined to Rs 274.07 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, a de-growth of 14 per cent compared to Rs 318.5 crore in the comparable quarter the previous year.

The company's total income also reduced to Rs 815.92 crore for the quarter under review, a decline of 8.81 per cent compared to Rs 894.81 crore, reported in the previous corresponding quarter.
